So far I only have one TA OC, which is the Apprentice I made during my first playthrough of the game! His name is Azarias Veselka, he's a sorcerer (very distinct from a magician, he'll have you know) from Firent, a theocracy that praised magic users who received their gifts from their so-called "god" and spurned those who didn't, calling them heretics. The word "sorcerer" was something of an insult, you could say, but Azarias wears the label with pride.

His story follows most closely with Lucio's and ends with him taking The Devil's place in the realm of the Arcana and becoming Lucio's patron by association. Prior to his ascension, as a side-effect of his resurrection through Asra that resulted in his amnesia, Azarias was uniquely predisposed toward the souls of the departed. He would occasionally see and hear them while awake, but mostly it was while he was asleep that he felt their presence most strongly, plaguing him with chronic nightmares of their woes. This is also the reason Lucio's ghost was able to latch onto him so easily.

There's much more to Azarias's story than that, but I haven't quite worked out all the details and, knowing me, I'll probably want to write a fic about it to make it official lol. Feel free to ask about him in the meantime!
